We take your everyday cat’s eye to a whole new level with this bold and fiery makeup, complete with scales and gems, to bring you the fiercest fright night look of the year…
First, the basics
Before you start on any of the fun stuff, you’ll want to perfect your base and there’s nothing better for the job than B. Flawless Silk Foundation.

Seeing red
We want the pigment to pack a punch for this look, so we’re using lipsticks to get that wow factor. Press some of the B. Lipstick in Raucous onto the back of your hand and use a tiny liner brush – as thin as you can find – to pick up the product. Draw one line coming up from beside your nose and going above your tear duct to sweep along your brow bone and flick up towards your temple at the end. Repeat that same swoosh shape a little lower down so it’s sweeping across the top of your eyelid, creating a kind of cut-crease effect. Fill in the space between these lines with the red lippy.

Cut the crease
Nothing says fierce like red and gold, so you’re going to cut the crease with L’Oréal Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick in Pure Gold. Draw a flick from the outer corner of your eye upwards to join with the red, then fill in all that space on the lid with the gold lipstick. You’ll be left with a super-strong, super-fierce gold flick.

Set in place
To make sure these creamy pigments stay put, you need to set them in place with a powder. Pack some of the L’Oréal Crushed Foil Highlighter in Gilded Gold on top of the gold and use a red shade from the Revolution Pro Supreme Eyeshadow Palette in Intoxicate to set the red.

Finer liner
For this step you’ll want max precision, so use a liner that’ll give you control, like the L’Oréal Paris Super Slim Liner in Intense Black. Draw a line coming from the side of your nose (like we did with the red lippy) and outline on top of the gold. Extending the point at your inner corner will give you major dragon vibes. Starting in the same place, draw a second line just above your lash line and flick up until you meet the first black line you drew. You basically want to outline the gold block of colour!

Finish the eyes
Apply a pair of falsies to make your lashes pop. We used Ardell Fright Night Goddess Lashes, which will be on the shelves soon, so keep your peepers peeled. Then finish the eyes by smoking out your lower lash line with MUA Intense Glitter Eyeliner Pencil in Starry Night.

Feelin’ cheeky
For blush, we’re going aaaall out. Grab the B. Lip & Cheek Tint in Frivolous and sweep this from the apples of your cheeks up to your temples. Go really heavy on this for that fire-from-within look.

Scale it up
The scales make this look and you’ll be happy to know they’re super-simple to achieve. Just get some fishnet tights and stretch them over your eyebrow area and the tops of your cheeks. Get a mate to dab the gold highlighter you used before in a C-shape around the outside of your eye area.
TOP TIP: Dust the highlight down the centre of your nose to give a sharper, more dragon-like look.
